Training
Radius Security Training
Like security guards, you are charged with keeping people and property safe and preventing crime. However, there’s one thing you can’t stop: time. As time goes by, the security industry changes, too, adapting to new requirements, challenges and regulations. But there is always room for new technology that can make security companies more efficient and productive – whether it be through scheduling your guards, training them, or tracking their time.
Role of a Security Guard
Security Guards duties often include securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings and equipment. Security Guards duties can also access points as well as permitting or prohibiting entry.
Crowd Control
Crowd control is a public security practice in which large crowds are managed in order to prevent the outbreak of crowd crushes, affray, fights involving drunk and disorderly people or riots. Crowd crushes in particular can cause many hundreds of fatalities.
Powers of Arrest
The power of arrest is a mandate given by a central authority that allows an individual to remove a criminal's (or suspected criminal's) liberty. The power of arrest can also be used to protect a person, or persons from harm or to protect damage to property.
Patrol Techniques
Police officers are more effective when they understand the many ways to catch criminals, prevent crime, and build community relationships through different types of patrol.
Use of Force
Force in law enforcement operations can be used by persons who exercise state powers, in particular, police and military forces; such use of force is mainly governed by international human rights law and domestic law.
First Aid
What are common first aid procedures? CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, and assessing and treating minor injuries like wounds, burns, sprains, and broken bones are common first aid procedures covered in a basic first aid course.
